GMF#27 | Helping Homeless Cats, One Paw at a Time. Meet Stephanie.
TL;DR:
While there are many reasons to do good—because it’s important, urgent, or simply the right thing to do—sometimes, we do it because it’s just plain cute too. Stephanie has been quietly working behind the scenes, helping street cats get medical treatment when they’re injured or abandoned. But it’s tough—funding is always uncertain, and kindhearted vets sometimes have to take financial losses just to help. So we’re starting small, supporting the incredible people who care for these cats daily. If you love what Stephanie is doing, here’s the link to show your love. And just a sneak peek… Alvin is now building a mini-game using AI to make helping cats even more fun. Stay tuned!
Sometimes, doing good is just about something as simple as cuteness.
Stephanie has been working with Cat Welfare Society to help injured street cats.
Funding is always a challenge—some vets help first, but they can’t sustain losses forever.
We’re focusing on supporting the everyday cat caregivers who show up consistently.

Why So Serious? Doing Good Can Be Cute Too.
There are many reasons to do good.
Some do it because it’s urgent—lives are at stake.
Some do it because it’s important—helping builds a better world.
And sometimes, let’s be honest… we do it because it’s just so darn cute.
It reminds me of that famous Joker line from The Dark Knight:
“Why so serious?”
We have to admit, happy stories that put a smile on our faces make us work harder too.
The Cats That Stole Stephanie’s Heart
For years now, Stephanie has been working quietly in the background, doing whatever she can to help street cats.
Which is kind of ironic… because she started off as a dog lover.
But over time, the cats did what cats do best—they slowly, stealthily, and irresistibly won her over.
Helping Cats, One Vet Visit at a Time
Stephanie has been teaming up with charities and ground-ups like the Community Cats’s Caregivers, helping homeless cats get medical treatment when they’re injured or abandoned.

It’s a tough job because emergency cases come in unexpectedly. When a kind stranger rescues a cat and brings it to a vet, there’s no time to waste.
The problem? We don’t always raise enough money fast enough.

Some amazing vets will start treatment immediately, trusting that somehow, the funds will come through.
But not every clinic can afford to take that risk.
Vets want to help, but they also need to keep their clinics running. If they take too many financial hits, they won’t survive—and in the long run, that means even fewer vets able to help homeless cats.
A Small Group of Committed People Can Change the World
I love this quote by Margaret Mead:
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.”
It reminds me that it’s okay to start small.
What matters is that you start with the right people.

And when it comes to helping homeless cats, the right people are already out there:
The dedicated feeders who go out daily to ensure the cats on the streets are well-fed.
The caregivers who take time and money to look after these cats—not just for a week or a month, but for years and years.
The kind strangers who don’t turn a blind eye when an injured cat needs help.
Where We Come In
At Give.Asia, we want to do our part to support these everyday heroes.
The ones who are already on the ground, helping not just once, but every single day.
We want to make it easier for people to give together, so that the weight isn’t carried by just a few, but by a growing, supportive community.
If you’d like to help Stephanie make this possible, here’s the link to show your love.

PS: Something Fun is Coming…
And just a little sneak peek…
Stephanie’s cat obsession is spreading—and Alvin has caught the bug too.
He’s now working on a mini-game using AI, experimenting with ways to make helping homeless cats more fun and engaging.

Can gaming and giving work together?
We don’t know yet—but we’re excited to try. Stay tuned! 😺🎮
